I never write reviews but I had to for this place!! My boyfriend comes here for lunch a lot and always gives it so much praise and I finally got to try it! He is absolutely right. We got the chicken shawarma and it was so good!! One of the lady cooks was also very very nice. I asked for hummus but they did not have anymore since it was almost closing time and she came out and told us and was just very sweet. I highly recommend this place!!

This place is a must try. The food is very good but the service is even better. I think it is a locally owned small business. They home make baklava and it is delicious! Try the lamb gyro!

Let me first by saying, the recent one star reviews seem very suspect! Don't believe these bogus reviews. I have been a police officer now for 34 years and during that time I have been able to eat at 100's if not thousands of restaurants valley wide. I started going to JJ's back in 2016 and from then to now the service and food is just amazing! This family owned Greek restaurant always serves up the best dishes, no matter what you order. Also, they still have the same employees working now as they did in 2016!!! If you see police eating at a restaurant that's a good thing. Do yourselves a favor, go check out JJ's Gyro and you won't be disappointed. Tell them Tim the cop sent you. Thanks

I recently had the pleasure of trying JJ's Gyros and I cannot stop raving about it! The chicken shawarma sandwiches are absolutely delicious - bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, and the combination of spices and sauces was just mouthwatering. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff at JJ's Gyros were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took the time to explain the menu options and help me choose the perfect meal. The service was prompt and attentive, making my dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere at JJ's Gyros was also great - clean and inviting with a cozy vibe. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. I will definitely be returning to JJ's Gyros for more of their mouthwatering chicken shawarma sandwiches and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and exceptional service.

The food was good, I had chicken and rice. The host/register guy was cool, sweet. The dude with the pony tail, cook, food prep guy, forgot the sauce AGAIN.....that is my bad. Because prior to me ordering my food, the dude with the pony tail brought food out to a table and as soon as he placed the plate down the customer had to ask for sauce and the pony tail dude had an attitude. I'm sure he was over worked...... I won't slip again. The place was packed with people and the food was good.

My gyro was so good. The meat was great. I do wish there was more tzatziki and veggies, but that's ok. The dolmades are great, the Greek dressing was good. I was sad they didn't have an tabouli salad :/ so I tried their rice instead. Was not impressed with the rice. Tasted like boxed rice honestly. The service was nice. I liked the feel of the place. Very hole in the wall family like ran place. I like places like that.

I wanted to update my review to show my all time love for JJ's. The portions are huge and the freshness is incredible. Did I mention the great friendly service?! All and all whether you are ordering a salad, a pita or even desert JJ's is a must stop for a great meal.!

Best gyro spot in this northern Phoenix area. Chicken Shwarma is killer! Every little side IS an extra charge keep in mind.
